A really excellent collection of super exhibits, with lovely temperaments, made for an enjoyable evening. At no time did I find any decision easy, and congratulate everyone on excellent presentation, when the weather has not been very kind!
Mrs Chadwick and I agreed on all our joint decisions, with the outstanding Beagle puppy as our "Best" Such excellent type, construction, balance and action. Sweet expression. All went to making a great impression, and she should have a brillant future.
In the final competition, the whippet, winner of the adult section, pushed hard for the top placing and is another who will surely go on to futher successes. Sweet expressive head, good quarters, lovely body condition and of good type by not being too large.( A trend that seems to be occurring in the breed in current times.)
So many others had excellent points and prospects for the future, and I wish them all the best.

Just a few lines to thank you and your committee foe a lovely evening last Saturday. It was beautifully arranged and the food and company were great. The quality of all the dogs was excellent and made our job very difficult. We were agreed over the eventual winner as we both felt the beagle puppy was truly outstanding both in conformation and movement and she performed very well for one so young. The whippet also had all the right credentials to do well and was ultra feminine and of ideal size. She was also a lovely mover and we were splitting hairs at the end, but unfortunately there could only be one winner. I shall watch the progress of the dogs shown in the future with interest.
